JMC‚Äôs first ever quiz-fest, Quiz-Topia’17‚Äã was organised by Curiosus, the Quiz Society of JMC. An extravaganza of quizzes culminated into an amazing display of knowledge as the best minds across the Delhi Quizzing Circuit battled it out to acquire the winner‚Äôs glory and win great cash rewards.
The first quiz, The Great Indian Quiz Challenge, based on India’s freedom struggle with special emphasis on the Quit India movement had Md. Fahad from DQC as the quizmaster. Students across Delhi University participated in huge numbers. Similarly, ‘Talaash- In pursuit of the Treasure’ too witnessed active participation from over various colleges. This event was marked by high adrenaline rush and saw participants running from one checkpoint to another to bag the winner’s spot. It included fun rounds related to food and a ton of other challenges to keep everyone on their toes.
The last event, the fandom quiz called ‘Step Up Your Fandom‚Äô was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone because of its unique concept. After a written prelims round, 12 teams were shortlisted to the next round which involved the participants to shout out answers and take a step down on each right answer. The last round, the heads up round was a fun-filled affair with everyone communicating the answer through animated looks.
The quizzes culminated to form a successful event, and the team sincerely hopes to organise a bigger and better quiz fest the next year
