A notification regarding DU exams was recently released on the official website of Delhi University. According to the notification, the exams of students in III/V/VII semester, along with repeaters from I/III/V semesters as well as Ex- students from undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs will commence from the 12th of December, 2020. Exams of students from School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non Collegiate Women Board (NCWEB) will also begin on December 12. The date sheet for the exams is likely to be released in the first week of November. The examinations would be conducted in two sessions a day, including Sundays for a duration of three hours.
DU exams would be conducted as Open Book Examinations in a “blended mode” i.e. offline and online, stated the notification, in view of the Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure social distancing (as previously conducted in 2nd phase of OBE in September 2020) for students in III/V/VII semester, along with repeaters from I/III/V semesters as well as Ex- students from undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs. Students can attempt the exam from their place of convenience or from their college/department/faculty according to the option they choose in the DU exam form and courses according to the datesheet.
All Ex-students of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) as well as erstwhile FYUP (B.Tech) as per specified Span Period would also have exams in blended mode i.e offline and online, as per their respective datesheets, from December 12. The syllabus for their exams would be as per the scheme at their time of admission.
Date sheets of exams for Undergraduate Courses would be released on the official DU website (www.du.ac.in) in the first week of November. Students from Postgraduate courses will be notified about their date sheets by their respective department/centre/ faculty.
