NCWEB Releases Second Cut-Off List for UG Admissions

DU has announced the second cut-off list for admissions to some UG courses under the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB). Under this new cut-off, NCWEB admissions are open for only B.A. and B. Com. programmes. The associated online admission procedure will begin on November 10.

New Cut-Offs for NCWEB Admissions

For admission to their B. Com. programmes, Aryabhatta College has now set a cut-off of 77%. Jesus and Mary College requires 82% for the same, while Moti Lal Nehru College has also set it at 77%.

Further, the cut-offs for B.A. Prog. (Economics + Political Science) at Aryabhatta College is 77%, and at Jesus and Mary College, it is 82%. PGDAV College has set cut-off marks for NCWEB admissions to the same course at 78%.

Largely, the NCWEB second cut-off marks for unreserved category students are still in the 70s and 80s for both programmes. However, Miranda House and Hansraj College have stopped admissions for general category candidates to both B. Com. and B.A. programmes.

Dates for Admission Application

DU has announced all pertinent admission application details in an official statement.

“The Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board’s (NCWEB) Second Cut-Off List for Admissions to B.A. (Program) and B.Com courses for the Academic Year 2021-2022 will be notified/displayed on the internet www.du.ac.in on Monday, November 8, 2021. Online admissions will begin on Tuesday, November 10th, 2021. The attached chart shows the cut-off percentage of marks (Second Admission List) at which admission to the above courses will be offered by different Board Centers.”

How to Check the NCWEB Second Cut-off List

  1. Go to du.ac.in’s official website and click on the admission portal.

2. Candidates will see a notification that reads, “2nd Cut-Off List – 2021 – NCWEB” in the Important Notice Section. Clicking it will open a new window.

3. Candidates should then select either the B.A. Second Cut Off List or the B.Com. Second Cut Off List 2021 from the drop-down menu.

4. A PDF will appear on the screen. The cut-off marks for the individual colleges will be included.
