Yesterday, on November 17, DU announced the first merit list for postgraduate admissions. This merit list pertains to certain specific postgraduate courses in the University.

Merit List Announced for some PG Courses
DU has released merit lists for a total of 20 PG courses. M.A. English, Environmental Studies, Geography, Hindi, History, Philosophy are among these. In addition, the varsity has also published merit lists for M.Sc. Botany, Environmental Studies, Microbiology, and Masters in Journalism. The lists are available on the university’s admissions portal, admission.uod.ac.in.
Admission Application Details
Starting November 18, selected students can apply for admission based on the initial merit list. The deadline for applications is November 21.
Between November 18 and 22, departments and colleges will verify and approve admissions. The deadline for then paying the entry fee is November 23.
On November 26, the University will also reveal the round 2 allocation list. It will further release the third round merit list on December 3.
How Do I Check The DU PG Merit List?
1. First, go to admission.uod.ac.in for further information.
2. There, click on ‘PG Admission List’ under ‘Postgraduate Admissions.’
3. Then choose a programme and an admissions list based on merit or entry.
4. Finally, download the list and look up your name on it.
Other Important Information
DU has also released some important information about entrance based PG admissions via an information bulletin. While some entrance-based admissions candidates are awaiting their qualifying exam results, they are still eligible for admission. However, their admissions will only be considered if the candidate provides their results within four days of the last date of admission. Failure to produce results by the deadline will lead to the cancellation of the candidate’s admission.
This year, a total of 1,83,815 students applied for admission to various PG courses provided by Delhi University. This year, DU’s entrance exam- DUET- was held on September 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, and October 1. The entrance tests are conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). DUET 2021 was held in 27 cities across India using a computer-based test (CBT). The test was objective in nature and consisted of multiple choice questions (MCQs). From October 19 to October 21, 2021, the DUET 2021 answer key problems were available online. On its official website, the NTA has also made the scorecards of all candidates available.
