ABHYAS, the Internship Cell of Hindu College, has successfully managed to form a link between the professional world and the students of Hindu College, providing them a platform to showcase their skills. This year, it proudly presents its flagship event Hindu Youth Summit to be held on the 4, 5 and 6 February ’17. The three day extravaganza which promises to be bigger, better and greater this year begins with a Marathon on the first day, a youth-centric Conference of eminent speakers from various fields on the second day and its unparalleled Internship fair Apprentissage on the third day.

The first event, Marathon is a 7.3 km long run for a social cause, which this year has been chosen to support specially-abled people. This year’s marathon would be run to help them embrace their identity and encourage their capabilities.

The Conference seeks to inspire students with its unique line of speakers. It will provide the students with a platform to reflect, interact, inculcate and take back with them an experience worth coveting.

Apprentissage acts as the epitome of Abhyas aim to bridge the gap between employers and prospective interns, thereby eliminating the need to have personal contacts to procure internships. It brings together numerous brilliant students from all across Delhi University on a single platform, making it easier for the recruiters to identify the skills they are looking for. In the past, students have got to intern at excellent companies such as Outlook India, Philip Morris International, NDTV and many more through Abhyas.

Hindu Youth Summit is one of the most anticipated events of Delhi University for what it showcases every year is not only distinctive but unprecedented. The diverse nature of events on the three days not only assures enjoyment but also promotes in the youth the spirit to make a change in the society. It gives a chance to the students to get inspiration for shaping their careers and interacting with eminent personalities, all included together in one package.
