AISA’s DU President Kawalpreet Kaur and 3 Others Attacked By Goons In Campus

Three students were allegedly beaten up after they questioned the indecent remarks made by four boys at All India Student Association (AISA) Delhi University President Kawalpreet Kaur in Vijay Nagar area,part of North Campus on Saturday night.

According to the complaint filed by the students,a group of four boys came and started passing comments on Kawalpreet Kaur .The three students resisted after which the group of boys later called more friends who had pistols with them who later thrashed the students on gun point by giving life threats.

“A police control room call was made around 12:30 am at the Model Town police station regarding a quarrel at Vijay Nagar. On reaching the spot, we found that three persons namely Jatin, Rishabh and Ankit have sustained grievous injuries. They had already been taken to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital in Ashok Vihar,” a senior police officer was quoted as saying.

The police has arrested 5 people in connection to this matter.
