Applicants With 0 Marks In Entrance Test Called For PhD Mathematics Interview

Currently,all over India across social media Delhi University is being ridiculed for calling all SC & ST applicants for an interview with a score of 0 in the entrance test for PhD Mathematics.

While,it is to be noted that the General category cutoff for the same program has been mentioned as 94 in the same circular and 84 for OBC applicants.

There is a possibility that there weren’t many applicants from the SC & ST category but still calling 0 mark scorers for a PhD interview in a program as premier as Mathematics shows the sad state of education in our country.

Political and apolitical social media pages have made this a big issue already since it goes against the idea of merit in India’s number one university.
