Alcheringa, IIT Guwahati, the largest socio-cultural festival of north-east India, is here to bring the excitement back into your lives. So, Alcheringa made space for numerous exciting events to bring out the artist in you by hosting the online event module called ESTRADE with a sensational panel of judges.
Estrade is a platform to showcase your artistry in your own style, through the following events.
The events already concluded are –
1. Solo singing: “You can cage the singer, but not the song”.Do you feel your voice can touch millions? then, it is a great platform to show your singing skills to the world.
The judge for the event was the young and talented ‘Shrinidhi Ghatate’.
2. Alcher’s model hunt: If you’re a new or aspiring model, this contest can be a perfect springboard to launch yourself into the public or professional eye. If you’ve set your sights high, showcase your talent, personality, fashion sense, and much more to us and we will share it with the world.
We had famous models ‘Pooja Singh’ and ‘Jantee Hazarika’ to judge this competition.
The events that are yet to come –
1. Solo dance: “The job of feet is walking, but their hobby is dancing.”
You’ve prepared tirelessly for your dance seasons. Now take all of the work that you’ve already done and push it up a notch to compete on a virtual world stage. So, it is the best platform to step forward and take center stage. Calling out all the dancers to battle it out.
2. Alcher’s photography hunt: Whether you are a professional photographer, a student, or an amateur hobbyist, photography contests provide the perfect platform to hone your skills and evolve your expression.
This platform allows you to capture moments that define our emotions, thoughts, and life experiences.
3. Monodrama: Acting is not about being someone different. It’s finding similarity in what is apparently different, then finding yourself in there.
Alcheringa brings to you the much awaited online monodrama competition. Come get on the stage and rediscover your new self, under the age-old skin.
