This is what the World Tourism Day is all about.It was celebrated with much enthusiasm by the Tourism Department of College Of Vocational Studies on 27th September,2017.

The event was glorified with the presence of many dignitaries who made the day even more memorable.The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Sudesh Kumar,the multi-faceted personality with brilliance in writing,speaking and performing.He urged the young minds to create the best of all opportunities that government is bestowing through projects like ‘Incredible India’.They also had Mr. O.P. Mehndiratta,Ms. Amna Mirza,Mr. Manish Kumar,Mr. Gour Kanjilal and Mr. Sunil Bharala as special guests for the event.

Carvan-the Tourism Society of CVS explained what Tourism Day is all about.It highlighted the theme of the day as suggested by UNWTO (Sustainable Tourism) by keeping blue color as the dress code.The event ended with grooving cultural performance by the students of the college.The reason behind this event being so successful was Dr. Kumar Ashutosh- the Head of Tourism Department who supported his students at every stage.

The tourism students of the college urged people to travel as they weren’t born to just pay bills and die but to wander places they will cherish for their whole life.
