CAT 2016 Notification Out,Test on 4th December

Common Admission Test (CAT 2016),the accepted entrance test at Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other prestigious B-schools will take place on 4th December 2016 this year.Online registrations for the entrance test will begin from 8th August 2016 and would continue till 22nd September 2016.

CAT 2016 will be conducted in 138 cities and in two sessions which will take place on the same day. Candidates will be given the option to select four cities in order of their preference as part of the venue selection.

A tutorial to make students understand the format of the test will be uploaded on the CAT website from 18th October 2016. For other queries, candidates can email to or dial 1-800-266-3549 (Monday to Saturday between 9am and 5.30pm).

Important dates-

Online registration: 8th August 2016 to 22nd September 2016 (5pm)

Download of admit card: From 18th October 2016 (1pm)

Test date: 4th December 2016,Sunday; (forenoon and afternoon sessions)

Declaration of results: Second week of January 2017 (tentative)
