CBSE Announces Schedule For Verification Of Marks,Obtaining Answer Sheets

Recently CBSE has released a new notice scrapping the whole concept of revaluation and introducing us to the concept of verification.

Amidst all the chaos,a new notification regarding the schedule and procedure of verification has been put up.

STEPS FOR VERIFICATION:-

  • Visit cbse.nic.in
  • click on apply for verification – class 12 tab
  • enter the necessary data, fees and submit.
  • save the details for future reference.

CBSE will accept all the verification requests online at cbse.nic.in. Each request must be submitted along with a fee of Rs 500 per subject.

Fee can be deposited through credit/debit cards or through challan. The notice also says ” no fee shall be accepted in offline mode i.e postal order/DD/money order cheque etc.

A provision of getting a photocopy of the evaluated answer sheet has also been made by the boards. In that case the student has to submit Rs 700 per subject.

There will be no revaluation of any evaluated answer. However, if any answer has not been evaluated, the same would be reported by candidate to respective Regional Offices of CBSE not later than seven days of receipt of photocopy of answer book.

However,there is a clause which mentions that the answer sheets won’t be used against CBSE in a court of law or any such competent body.
