Located on the Siri Fort Road, the college is built around one of the best areas of Delhi. The college is close to areas like Aurobindo Market, M Block Market at GK-1 and Huas khas.
Metro users can reach the college easily as the nearest metro stations are Green Park(Yellow Line) and Moolchand(Violet Line) from where an auto is easily available.

Apart from this there are various ¬†fests and seminars ¬†organised by other departments of the college. One of them being ‘Cascade’ – The commerce Department Fest.

Mithas¬†located opposite to Gargi College is often filled with students munching around with food and is a common adda for food lovers. ‘Diggin Restaurant’ which is right opposite to Gargi College is another delightful place where students spend hours sitting and gossiping. Gargians also hang out at Haus Khas village, Sarojni Nagar Market since girls can‚Äôt live without ¬†shopping and street food, so gargi girls can be found there bunking classes.Students can also be found chilling at Satya Niketan and sometimes Greater Kailash Market.
PLACEMENTS
The placement cell of Gargi College is considered to be  the active cell of the college. Over the years companies like EY, KPMG, Evalueserve, Smartcube, Genpact, Oberoi hotels, American Express, Finedge, Teach for India Fellowship etc. have conducted their drives in the college and have been fully content with the manpower the college has provided offering an average package of 5-6 Lacs p.a. The cell also takes initiative in organising pre-placement talks, seminars, drives and aptitude tests.

-Gargi is one of the only two colleges which has been awarded the ‘Prestigious College with a Potential for Excellence Grant’ by the UGC in 2004.
