Founded in 1972, College of Vocational Studies is an off-campus college situated at Sheikh Sarai-II right besides Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. It has been among the pioneer institutions in the country to offer vocational education,bridging the gap between traditional university education and the changing socio-economic environment.


The College offers the following Vocational Streams in B.A. (Vocational Studies) 

1.Human Resource Management
2.Marketing Management and Retail Business
4.Office Management and Secretarial Practice
5.Management and Marketing of Insurance
6.Small and Medium Enterprise
7.Material Management

The College also offers the following Honours Courses

4.BA(Hons)Business Economics
5.B.Sc(Hons)Computer Science


College of Vocational Studies is among the very few colleges in Delhi University which are actually maintained and kept all neat and tidy.There has been a recent addition to the building where a new block has been constructed in the beginning of 2016.

The college offers a small yet efficient computer lab,while the library occupies a good two floors and does justice to students as well teachers.

You can also find a girls common room,a huge ground and a good enough seminar hall for conducting events.


CVS takes their societies very seriously and have amongst some of the most hardworking and talented students bringing home several awards and making fellow students proud.

While the college’s canteen might satisfy an empty tummy, it might not be the same case for pleasing them taste buds.
Right in front of the college is a small eatery space,which is loved by the students of both the colleges and if you walk a bit more you’ll reach the authority market also known as Bhagat Singh market which expands your options.

The college being located in South Delhi offers tons of options.The most common and nearest being Select Citywalk and DLF Place Mall.
