Considering the current scenario, Delhi University is taking all necessary actions to allow a smooth learning experience via the online mode. DU recently created an online platform called OneDU to integrate and streamline online education. The basic goal of the platform is to promote online education across all the departments, colleges, centres and other affiliated bodies.
The platform will be a study material resource provider for the students, whenever and wherever required. It has representation not only from the teaching but also the non-teaching staff. This platform will ensure that online education or teaching applications are utilised in the best way possible and will enhance the capacity of the stakeholders.
Under the ‘OneDU’ – Online eDUcation flagship programme, this platform has been introduced to create a network between all the colleges, centres and departments for sharing resources. This platform is facilitated by e-learning support through the Delhi University Computer Centre (DUCC).
In this ‘new normal’, online teaching has become an essential tool. Even in the last semester, DU adopted the online mode through classes on various teaching applications but now with this new platform, all the online education will be integrated.
