Delhi University To Contribute One Day of Its Staff Salary Towards PM Fund To Support Fight Against Coronavirus

“The University has proposed to contribute one day’s salary of teaching and non-teaching staff to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF)” said Delhi University in a statement.

The University has also formed a task force to take stock of the situation and provide suggestions for the future course of action.

The University of Delhi recently made classes online by integrating with two popular google applications – Google Classroom & Google Hangouts to ensure that studies don’t get affected as the country is facing a nationwide lockdown till 14th April in the wake of a global pandemic. The University has also made arrangements for students staying in the hostel by ensuring mess is operational.

The World University Services (WUS) Health Centre at North Campus, South Campus, East Delhi (Dr BR Ambdekar College) & West Delhi (Shivaji College) are fully functional.
