Delhi University VC Reaches Out To Alumni,Asks Them To Contribute To Covid-19 Relief Work

The Delhi University is reaching out to its alumni to make contributions to the COVID-19 relief work.“Our faculty members have successfully explored virtual classrooms and other digital aids to ensure continuity in the teaching-learning process,” he said.

The VC also mentioned how the University hasn’t allowed the outbreak to hamper academia by conducting online classes after colleges got shut because of the lockdown. He also said that the University is working on how to conduct examination for 9 lakh students this year and has started making preparations for the admission process.

He also informed how the University has contributed 4 crores to the PM Cares fund with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the University donating their 1 day’s salary. The University has also launched the ‘DU Care for Neighbour’ program to help feed the poor in the North & South Campus area.
