DU ADMISSION 2020: Students meeting the University Of Delhi’s first cut-off list can apply online and register for their admission in their respective colleges tomorrow.
The University of Delhi will now allow the candidates to register online for their admissions at the respective college websites. The students can visit their respective college websites and register online between October 12, 2020, and October 14, 2020. Students meeting the required University Of Delhi’s first cut-off list are eligible to apply for the academic session 2020-21.
For the first time in history, the University Of Delhi is following contactless admission process, hence online admissions will take place to avoid any public gathering. Candidates are advised to register online at their respective dream colleges and upload the required documents. The college will then verify the uploaded documents within 24 hours.
Each college under the University Of Delhi has issued a set of guidelines for the admission of students to the university. Some colleges have also provided extra eligibility criteria for the female students and students under minority for the admission of the academic session 2020-21, in University Of Delhi.
Following are the simple steps one needs to follow for the admission in their dream college:
Step 1: Check the colleges affiliated to the University Of Delhi and course-wise University Of Delhi first cut-offs 2020
Step 2: Select the University Of Delhi college and the particular course
Step 3: Register online at the college websites
Step 4: Fill the required details and submit the required documents
Step 5: Submit
As per the University Of Delhi admission dates, candidates can register online till October 14 against the DU first cut-off list. The last day to submit the DU admission fees online is October 16. The new academic session in the University Of Delhi for the new batch is scheduled from November 18, 2020.
The University Of Delhi will verify the documents uploaded by the candidates during the online contactless admission process and after the verification, the college will then approve the admission. After the approval, candidates will have to pay the admission fee which will be available on their respective dashboard after they are shortlisted. The fees can be paid via online mode only.
Following are the documents required for DU Admissions 2020:
1. Class 10th pass certificate or mark-sheet indicating dates of birth and parents’ names
2. Class 12th Mark sheet
3. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM Certificate (if applicable)
4. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (if applicable)
5. EWS Certificate from competent authority certifying the applicant can claim reservation under this category. Income certificate is also required
