“We urged the V-C to either fix 70 per cent quota for Delhi students or make a provision to give at least 3-5 per cent grace marks to Delhi students in DU colleges, as it is their Constitutional right to get higher education at an affordable cost within their home town,” Verma said.

“The V-C has assured us that he will provide us with an opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with the admission committee of the university before the beginning of the admission process,” he added.

Last year also Aam Aadmi Party had raised the issue of fixing quota for students with Delhi domicile but Delhi University rejected the proposal.
