DU Admissions 2017 : DU Planning To Give 65-35 Weightage In Joint Entrance Test 2017

Delhi University is planning to adopt a 65-35 weightage formula of entrance exam and Class 12 marks respectively for admission to Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) and Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE) for the 2017-18 academic session.

Delhi University is also planning to do away with the Group Discussion and Personal Interview from these three course’s selection process.

Last year,a 50-50 weightage was given to the entrance tests and Class 12 marks each for admission to BBE,whereas for BMS and BBA,50 per cent weightage was given to entrance and 30 per cent to group discussions and 20 per cent to personal interview.

“DU does not want to have interviews and group discussions in these professional courses. Continuous admission committee meetings are going on to decide the admission process in the varsity. Recommendations are also being sought on ending the group discussion and interviews” a university official told Asian Age.
