DU Admissions 2018 : Delhi University is likely to witness lower cutoffs this year as 23 states and Union territories have agreed to not inflate marks this year.

The process of inflating marks wasn’t followed by some boards last year but many state board went against the government directive saying they can’t change their policy midway. This led to a situation of loss for students who were from CBSE or those state boards which didn’t perform the ‘spiking’ process. As a result,a lot of students were disheartened at the action of boards which brought an inequality to the whole admission process.

This year though most of the states have came to a consensus with Tamil Nadu board saying that they’ll give grace marks to only those students who are failing at the borderline and their marking policy would be announced on the website soon.

A pan India non inflation of marks will ensure that all students are treated at par and the cutoffs at Delhi University to be lower this year.
