DU Admissions 2018 : Delhi University is likely to continue with its policy of adjustment of marks on pro-rata basis to calculate Best of Four marks of students who have studied subjects that had practical component of more than 30% in Class 12th.

“In case, the subject to be considered has 60% theory and 40% practical component, then the marks of theory and practical are converted to 70% and 30% respectively on pro-rata basis. The new marks are considered for calculation of ‘best of four’,” a DU official told Hindustan Times.

According to DU rules, marks with 70% theory and 30% practical component of exam awarded by the CBSE are accepted for calculation of Best of Four marks.Applicants who do not fulfil this criteria their marks are calculated on a pro-rata basis.
