According to the recently released data by Delhi University, the maximum number of applications this year have come from Delhi, followed by Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.High number of applications have also been received from North eastern states.
While 1,38,450 applications came from Delhi,Uttar Pradesh and Haryana had 76,042 and 45,542 applications respectively.16,838 applications came from the state of Bihar.

2,737 applications were received this year from Assam.
University of Delhi received a total of 2,78,574 applications for its Undergraduate courses this year.The first cutoff will be released on 19th June 2018.
