As per a Delhi High Court order, the colleges will have to return the original documents immediately after the admission so that students can easily withdraw and shift to another college. But “depending on their schedule, the colleges will ask for the documents after the admission and then these will be verified”  said a member of the DU Admission Committee.

Colleges cant keep original documents of the applicants during the undergraduate admissions this year but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be any check. Once the admission process gets over, the colleges will collect documents and will verify them.

“During the verification, if any college finds any certificate to be fake, the admission will be cancelled immediately.” said a DU official.
