Chief Justice D N Patel and Justice C Hari Shankar issued a notice to the school requesting that it to record its answer to the appeal which asserts disparities in the non-Christian SC/ST and physically impaired (PH) candidates cutoff.
The court has recorded the issue for further hearing on July 11. The request by educator Nandita Narain has fought that the school on June 26 notified “artificially high and illegal cut off marks for various courses” for Christian students belonging to ST, others and PH categories.

The college guaranteed that the appeal was not viable as neither any key right nor any statutory or legitimate right of the candidates was breached.
