Besides admissions being open for aspirants into the University of Delhi, Jesus and Mary College, a college affiliated with the University of Delhi opened its admission portal yesterday i.e 30th June 2020. There are two colleges- “St. Stephen’s College” and “Jesus and Mary College” which hold individual admission processes along with the University admissions.
The admission portal of Jesus and Mary College clearly specifies that the admissions to JMC start on 30th June 2020 and close on 15th July 2020. The procedure includes filling up the University Admission form and completing the University’s registration process and then filling up the college’s individual online admission form and registering with the college itself.
The notification also mentions contact details for the admission helpline for any query related to admissions. They are as follows: 9910944595, 7011140234 (9 am to 1 pm on all working days) and the email ID mentioned is admissions@jmc.ac.in.
Jesus and Mary College’s criteria for calculating the “best four combinations” is separate. The criteria include “English” as a compulsory subject and the three other subjects can be chosen from the list below: Accountancy, Biology, Biotechnology, Botany, Business Maths, Business Studies, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Elective English, English, English Core, Functional English, Geography, Geology, Hindi, History, Informatics Practices, Legal Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Zoology. All the subjects included in the calculation of “best four” must have a 70% theory component. Students aspiring to enter Jesus and Mary College can now fill up forms after checking the course-specific eligibility criteria. The portal is active till the 15th of July. Jesus and Mary College releases a separate cut-off list as well.
