DU Committee Set To Meet For Regularisation Of Ad Hoc Teachers

Delhi University Committee plans to meet on the following Monday in concern to discuss over the regularisation and the promotion of the ad-hoc teachers of the university.

There have been several issues faced by the ad-hoc teachers in the University.Some of these issues include- termination of service without giving any reasons on a day’s notice, their replacement on the basis of student feedback however it may be, late interviews, fear of being replaced anytime, so on and on.There has been an uproar among teaching community regarding this for quite a long time.

So, taking a step towards better working conditions for the ad-hoc faculty, the committee plans to discuss over issues like regularisation, absorption, paid leaves among other, as quoted by a member of the committee to Indian Express.Whatever the committee recommends, shall then be passed on to the University’s Executive Council.
