DU UG ADMISSION 2020: Delhi University will release the 5th cut off list today; October 7th,2020. The cut-off list will be valid for the admission process from 10 am onwards on 9th November to 5 pm on 11th November. The cut-off list will be released individually by the colleges and as a separate combined list in the official website. The DU colleges release individually the cut-off lists way ahead of schedule for the benefit of students. Check on the official websitedu.ac.in for the fifth cut-off list.
According to the fourth cut-off list announced last week, the cut-off list for many courses was closed in different categories while there was a decrement of one or two percentages in certain courses. Due to the continuous withdrawals, cancellations and shifting of colleges, the students can expect the vacancy of seats in the 5th cut-off list.
One DU official said, “Over 55,000 seats were filled earlier [against DU first, second and third cut-off lists], however, after cancellations and withdrawals, the final number is 45,542. There are a total 70,000 seats this year.”
After verifying that the students have met the DU 5th cut-off requirement, they can register and apply online for admission to the university. But all the affiliated colleges of Delhi University have released a different set of guidelines to admit students to their colleges. The respective colleges affiliated to Delhi University will verify the candidates’ documents uploaded by them during the online DU contactless admission process 2020 and after scrutiny will approve their admission. So the students have to check the individual college’s guideline and proceed for the admission process.
