University of Delhi: In an unfortunate turn of events, a student from the Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSDC) has come forward to address a sexual violence she faced last year at a private party.
The identities of the people involved shall not be disclosed due to Right to Privacy.
At a party thrown by her friends, she reports that she was sexually assaulted by one of the attendees. The student alleges that the alleged perpetrator had groped her breasts when everyone went to sleep. He was a college acquaintance of the student.
The student mentioned her inability to stop the unwanted contact as she was under intoxication. When confronted by the student, the accused and other attendees at the party dismissed any such occurrence.
The accused has called them “fake allegations” and denied to pass any further comments on the incident.
