DUSU Election Results 2019 Live : ABVP Maintains Strong Lead;Clean Sweep Likely This Year

The counting of votes for DUSU elections is currently ongoing in North Delhi’s Kingsway Camp area.The counting started at 8:30 AM today and ABVP has been maintaining a lead on majority seats in the 4 member student union of Delhi University.The ABVP won 3 seats last year while 1 seat went to NSUI’s Aakash Chaudhary.

Akshit Dahiya from Law Centre – I is the Presidential candidate of ABVP while¬†Chetna Tyagi from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (Evening) is the NSUI’s candidate for the top post.A woman Presidential candidate isn’t what DUSU elections has seen recently.The voter turnout was recorded at just above 39%, a decline of 5% from last year.
