Today,Akshay Lakra, NSUI’s Delhi State President released a copy of the letter from Thiruvalluvar University. The letter mentions that ‘I hereby submit that Mr Ankiv Baisoya has not enrolled either in our University or in any of our constituent or affiliated colleges and is not our student at all.’

The letter also stated that¬†‘The Certificate he has produced is fake and not from our University’.

“This recent letter issued by registrar of Thiruvalluvar University to the Principal Secretary in Tamil Nadu govt clearly states that document submitted by Ankiv Baisoya were fake.Department of Buddhist Studies’s HOD KTS Sarao is trying to save ABVP’s President candidate.Despite 15 days of submitting complaint to the DU administration they have failed to take any cognizance against the fake DUSU president.NSUI is left with no other option to go to court and seek justice.” said Akshay Lakra, NSUI Delhi State President.

ABVP has asked Delhi University from the very first day of this controversy to verify documents of Ankiv Baisoya and has welcomed an investigation. The party also asked for verification of documents of all the DUSU office bearers to avoid such controversies in the future.

“Earlier the Controller of Thiruvalluvar University clarified promptly on the fake degree of Ankiv Baisoya followed by the cross checking by reputed media houses.Today, the Registrar of Thiruvalluvar University has ¬†again clarified to the deaf and dumb DU Administration about the fake degree of Ankiv Baisoya.Despite of this, the DU Administration is acting in a biased manner on purpose by removing Admission officer and delaying the process by different means to slow down the course of action, hence favouring ABVP.NSUI demands declaration of Sunny Chhillar as the DUSU President with immediate effect and¬†Arrest Ankiv Baisoya for deceiving the students of DU and DU administration by means of misrepresentation and fraud.” said Saimon Farooqui, National Secretary of NSUI.

“We are still waiting for DU’s stand in the whole case.I’m sure DU will provide a fair output after going through its verification process.” said Monika Chaudhary,National Media convenor of ABVP.
