What can be seen as a repeat of 2016,the Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) has called for an evaluation boycott from 9th May 2018 as a sign of protest against the graded autonomy and other central government policies relating to higher education.

The reasons behind the protest are graded autonomy, autonomous college policy and change in roster policy which will reduce the number of SC/ST seats in teaching appointments.

This boycott will affect all the three year students of regular mode and all students of the School of Open Learning. The boycott will also cause a delay in the result declaration of final year students which will have an impact on their further education plans.
