The new semester in Delhi University commenced on 1st January 2020. However, the DUTA continues its month-long strike which started for an indefinite period on 4th December 2019.
The Delhi University Teachers’ Association has boycotted invigilation and evaluation of exams for the last semester exams in December. The main demand made by DUTA is to absorb the 4500 ad-hoc teachers into permanent positions.
