Vande Mataram College : Dyal Singh Evening College was in news since last few months for changing into a morning college but the transfer wasn’t taken well by the authorities and students who kept protesting against this transformation.
But today,in a Facebook Post,Mr Amitabh Sinha,the Chairman of Dyal Singh College & Dyal Singh Evening College mentioned how Governing Bodies of both the colleges have passed the resolution unanimously and the college would now be called Vande Mataram College.
The college would be operating in Morning shift now and this was termed as a historical moment in his post.
The reaction of students is still to come on this issue as most of the students won’t be aware of the developments due to the forthcoming semester exams but some students on social media celebrated the decision and hailed the Governing Body for carrying out this change.
