About the event:
A saga of passion, patience and perseverance, UDAAN is the flagship Entrepreneurship Summit of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Council, IIM Rohtak. One of the biggest in the country, Udaan consists of two power-packed round of panel discussions, featuring founders of start-ups like Outline India, Nearbuy.com and Miko to name a few. The event will also host B, a Business-Plan competition wherein teams from around the country will present their plans before esteemed jury, investors and mentors. The winners get a chance to win prizes worth 2.1 Lakhs and incubation and seeding support. The big draw this year is the interesting mix of speakers and panelists that Udaan has managed to onboard, which has created quite a stir in the B-School community.

The theme for this year’s summit is ‘Entrepreneurship as the key to unlocking the $5 Trillion Economy Dream’. India is gearing up to an ambitious GDP goal of $5 trillion by 2024. In 2018-19, India’s nominal GDP was Rs 190 lakh crore; at $1 at 70, which translates to $2.7 trillion.
