02nd Gurugram Kala Utsav 2018 : Friday,March 30,2018
The Festival was  inaugurated by Dr. Sambit Patra,National Spokesperson,Bharatiya Janta Party at 10:00 AM followed by Dance Competitions (10:00 AM to 12.30 PM),On the Spot Painting Competitions (11:00 AM to 01:30 PM) & Painting Exhibition of Artists from Delhi NCR (11:00 AM to 08:00 PM).
The Sanskritik Sandhya (Cultural Evening) started with the Launching of VAYU – Value Air You Use App by  Clean Air Asia,  an International NGO that leads the global mission for better air quality and healthier, more livable cities in Asia.
It was followed by starting of Vana Mahotsava by Balprada – from conflicts to harmony, an organization promoting the spirit of helping others without any expectation in return and by taking decisive action against oppression, exploitation and mismanagement of resources.
The Cultural Performances of the evening were as follows:
· Bharatnatyam  Dance by Padmashri & SNA Awardee Guru Geeta Chandran & Group .
· Odissi Dance by Parishad Samman Awardee Guru Sharon  Lowen.
· Kuchipudi Dance by dancing couple Dr. P. Vithal & Dr. Bharati Vithal .
· Sattriya Dance by Bismilla Khan  Yuva Puraskar Awardee , Dr. Bhabananda Barbayan & Group.
· Sambalpuri Folk Dance by Dhol Mahuri Kala Parishad, Bolangir , Odisha.
· Haryanvi Folk Dances by Shri Chandan Singh Nagada Party
· Painting on live dance performance by Eminent Painter Shri Hari Singh.
02nd Gurugram Kala Utsav 2018 : Saturday,March 31,2018
The day’s activities started with live painting workshop of established artists from Delhi NCR from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM¬†along with Painting Exhibition of artists from Delhi NCR (11:00 AM to 08:00 PM), Painting Exhibition of School Children from all over India (11:00 AM to 08:00 PM) .
The Sanskritik Sandhya (Cultural Evening) consisted of the following performances :
- Kathakali – Mohiniattam Nritya Samagam by Guru B. Jagadeesan,The International Centre for Kathakali  & Guru Dr. Deepti Omchery Bhalla , Trikalaa Gurukulam.
- Kathak Dance by Sringarmani Awardee,Guru Jayashree Acharya & Group.
- Manipuri Dance by dancing couple Guru Sovanabrata & Nutan Sircar .
- Gujarati Folk Dance by Shri Chetan Jethava , Saptak Group .
- Haryanvi Folk Music  by Shri Chandan Singh Nagada Party.
The Esteemed Guests of the evening were Shri GP Upadhyay IAS, Addl. Chief Secretary,Govt. of Sikkim; Shri Yashpal,HCS, Commissioner,MCG ;  Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, Founder Sulabh International ; Shri Ajay Singhal,Director Haryana Kala Parishad.
The “Gurugram Gaurav Samman & The Gurugram Satkar Awards”  were also presented during the Cultural Evenings.These Awards were given to few extraordinary men & women who have specialized in various fields like culture,education,industry,fine arts,journalism & social work in lieu of the yeoman services rendered by them with excellence in their respective fields.
Entry was free for all on first cum – first serve basis.
The Mega Socio – Cultural Event was supported by Ministry of Culture,Sangeet Natak Akademi,North Zone Cultural Centre, North Central Zone Cultural Centre,Municipal Corporation of Gurugram,Culture Department,Govt. of Odisha,Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited & Rizwan Adatia Foundation.
