With such massive participation, we also hold a social responsibility to give back to those who have been mistreated and outcast from society.

Each year the fest promotes a Social Cause to bring awareness and bring about reforms. The 9th edition was graced by Vijay Devarakonda, the popular cinema actor, as he promoted our social cause campaign of an eco-friendly world. This year the fest has championed the cause of the LGBTQ community that faces the monumental task of living in a country where they are looked down upon. In spite of the landmark decision made on September 6, 2018, there is a social stigma that needs to be erased so we can truly live and love as equals. That is our belief and our social cause for ELAN & ηvision 2019.

The theme of Prismatic Dreams stands for the true nature every one of us shows in times of adversity. It represents the vivid reality we dream of making for our future generations and our efforts to recognise it.

There is something for every shade (?) of you to explore, from workshops to talks, expos to competitions and beauty pageants to hackathons.

ELAN & ηvision IITH’s techno-cultural fest has only grown bigger and has come back grander than ever this year. Join us on this colourful dream.
