Jesus & Mary College To Host TEDxJMC On 8th March 2019

Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University, is organising its first edition of an independently organised TED event, TEDxJMC, on the 8th of March 2019 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm in the College Auditorium. The stage is set, and the spirits are high as the day of awe and inspiration comes closer!

TED is an annual event that brings together the world’s leading thinkers and doers to share ideas that matter in various disciplines across various cities of the world. In the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” TED has created TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

This much-awaited conference will host incredible ideas ranging from mental health to music. A culmination of a kind, it’s sure to broaden horizons and shift paradigms through passionate talks by speakers who breathe for their work. Surely something you don’t want to miss. The speaker line-up of TEDxJMC is Sanchana Krishnan, a Mental Health Activist; Ankit Srivastava, a digital marketer and growth strategist; Vimlendu Jha, an environmentalist; Lakshay Mohan and Aayush Mohan, Sitar and Sarod Maestros; Valerie Pinto, CEO of Weber Shandwick; Kanika Goyal, Renowned Fashion Designer; Neeha Nagpal, Lawyer; Shibani Bedi, an actor and writer and Eshaa Patel, Student at JMC. Each one of them is a pioneer coming from a different field and has been carefully crafting a unique idea to be able to enthral you with their thoughts.
