Kamala Nehru College’s canteen is considered to be one of the best canteens in DU. The food is undeniably appetising as well as hygienic, and the cleanliness standards are always under check. You need to be full when you have a stringent timetable, morning classes with nearly no breaks. And here’s when the canteen comes to your rescue. From delicious Pav Bhaji, Shahi Paneer-Naan, Rajma Chawal to yummy Honey Chilli Potato, Dosa and Spring Roll, the canteen treats you with wide variety of cuisines, that too without burning a hole in your pocket. And how can we forget Chai/Coffee? They are a must!

Your between classes hunger pangs will easily and deliciously be satiated. Apart from the canteen, the college also has a Nescafé booth and Coca Cola Station.

Chaupal

One of the best things to remember KNC by is its open amphitheatre, better known as the Chaupal. It is the most happening place after the canteen. It is surrounded by lush green trees from all around which forms a beautiful, grand canopy. The Chaupal is preferred by students to sit, chat, study and munch on, hence it’s almost always bustling with people! Many department activities and sometimes lectures are also conducted in the environment so fresh and airy.

Lastly, being a student of English honours at KNC, I can pretty much assure you that it is a place to cherish. Your three years at KNC would be beautiful and dazzling. Leaving with you, at the end, tons of wistful memories!
