TEDxKNC Find or Make has four prominent personalities as speakers at the event.

Rita Seth- Rita Seth runs a mental health group called Sambandh, which not only aims at equipping members with self sustaining habits but also runs on the voluntary help provided by the patients who they refer to as members. “We’ve never gone without having a meal at the centre in so many years, members always volunteer.”- says Rita Seth.

With a focus on the core values of respect along with lending a listening ear, while seeing a person with illness as a fellow human, can help enable them to live as dignified humans in the society and not as patients.

Siddharth Malik-  Siddharth Malik, founder and Managing Director of Megawatt Solutions Pvt. Ltd brought the idea of Hybrid Solar Thermal Project in India. Taking inspiration from the natural sun tracking ability of the sun flower and veins of a spider’s web, he developed a lens that concentrates sun rays to generate heat energy!

Divya Dureja-  Amalgamating her skills in performance poetry and counseling along with her queerness, Divya Dureja has established performers consortium- a platform for nourishing performance artists. She looks at it as a tool for resistance, revolution and expression. Having performed around the globe and counseling LGBTQIA+ clients, she highlights the need for self awareness and expression ; finding a way and making one for others.

Pallavi Rao- A former RJ (bumper to bumper, RJ pallu) who lost one of her vocal cords during the treatment of an autoimmune disorder called myasthenia gravis, is currently the Group Head- CSR of Radio Mirchi. She strongly battled Cancer twice though the effects of the same still linger in her life. During the hard times of her treatment, she wrote ‘ICU Love Stories’ where she narrates tales of compassion, peace and love in relationships in ICU.

With speakers from such diverse backgrounds, Kamala Nehru College has taken one step further towards providing a platform for its students for developing and sharing ideas that matter. It is a step towards acknowledging and appreciating true knowledge and experiences. It gives the students wings to fly in the direction of their dreams.
