The fest season at Delhi University is about to begin and LSR’s Tarang 2018 is one of the biggest college festivals in University of Delhi which kickstarts the 2 month long fun time. This year too,Tarang promises to live up to the expectations of students and kickstart the fest season with a bang.

Here is a heartfelt message from the Students’ Union of Lady Shri Ram College for Women regarding the Annual Cultural Fest of LSR – Tarang 2018 !

We promise that Tarang 2018 will challenge the ¬†existing ‘norms’ or rather the ‘shackles’ of how a college cultural fest should be.

LSR via Tarang 2018 will redefine these norms  by promising to consciously celebrate culture and talent sans a discomforting gluttonous indulgence in monetary spending and overtly flimsy pursuits that tend to act as guidelines of college fests of today.

Tarang 2018 is nothing but a harmony of collective consciousness where we celebrate human endeavour, spirit, grit, determination and the idiosyncratic talent pool that makes us live limitlessly with infinite dreams and hopes.

This year Tarang 2018 focuses not on quantitative parameters like elaborative budgets or suffocating crowds but rather on qualitative parameters like a handpicked artist pool who exude raw talent with exquisite capacity to enthrall the audience which will leave you nostalgic, with the help of our collaborators along with heated discussion forums and events organized by our award winning societies.

As we gather on the 2nd, 3 rd and 4th of February 2018 to collect nostalgic memories, we promise to not just celebrate culture, but rather to ‘consciously’ celebrate it like responsible youngsters who will lead the 21st century in different spheres in the near future.

We also have a variety of mind blowing recreational games and fun activities to add more flavours to the fest. As LSR has always ensured equality and accessibility foster around it, our Annual Fest Tarang 2018 is an example of the same. The Recreational games would be accessible for the specially abled students as well.Tarang’18 also has an accessible space in the pro nite area for the specially abled and the volunteers will be around for any assistance that might be required.

We welcome you all to Tarang 2018 as we collectively promise to Think.Feel.Believe.Act !”

Love,

Students’ Union.
