A video is going viral on social media which shows porn being played out on a big screen at one of the busiest metro stations of India-Rajiv Chowk Metro Station.The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has formed a committee already to probe this embarrassing incident.
The video, shot by a commuter,shows hundreds of commuters walking by,as a pornographic clip plays on one of the big screens in the background.Some people could also be seen shooting videos with their cellphones.
The incident took place on April 9, according to ANI.
Delhi Metro has denied its role in the incident by saying hat the screen was under commissioning with a private contractor.
“The DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) is not aware about this clip. However, this LED screen was under commissioning and testing by a private contractor and the same is still under commissioning. The work is still not completed” Delhi Metro spokesperson Anuj Dayal said in a statement.
“We will check all the details of the testing and commissioning process of the contractor to establish whether any such clip was played on the LED screen at Rajiv Chowk station and take adequate safeguards and action,” the statement said.
A senior DMRC official said he had seen the clip but could not verify its authenticity. “We are still checking if any record of the incident is available” he said.
