Can’t decide a place to eat? Why not come to Miranda House. Miranda House’s canteen is one of the best canteens in Delhi university. The canteen offers variety of food. Be it Italian, South Indian, North Indian or Chinese, you name it you get it. Not only this people, Miranda House has also got options of places to choose from. There are 4 places inside the college which offers equally delicious food. So let’s look at these amazing places and their mouth-watering dishes.
The Main Canteen
The college’s main canteen offers those lip smacking dishes which you really can’t miss out. From Rajma Chawal to Dosa to Chowmien, the food is not only appetizing but also up to the marks in terms of quantity and price. You have to try canteen’s Allo Pyaaj Parantha with butter topped on it and served with spicy pickle. Also for a perfect lunch you can try the thali which have two naans, dal makhni/shahi paneer and salad. The food can literally leave you licking your fingers. The best part is that the food is freshly made and is very fulfilling plus they cost only Rs 30 and Rs 50.
PAM: Pizzas And More
Not really hungry but craving for some snacks? Then PAM is the perfect place for you. Pam has a list of amazingly delicious food which will make you its fan. The mixed sauce Pasta has that heavenly taste in only 40 rs. It has that perfect flavour and the perfect pasta sauce which can make anyone drool over it. Not to forget the Cheese Burger. Pam’s cheese burger is the most famous among all other snacks. It’s taste is just indescribable and you get it for only 40 rs.
Nescafe
In this scorching heat it is coffee that can keep you moving. And for coffee what else is better than nescafe? You get coffee everywhere but the taste that you will get in the flavoured frappe of nescafe, that you won’t find anywhere else. They rightly say ‚Äú Your search for coffee ends here‚Äù. Nescafe has variety of flavours like hazelnut, caramel, chocolate and belive me all of them are just divine. Apart from coffee nescafe has also got that yummy desert. The chocolate muffin filled with warm chocolate inside simply melts in your mouth making its direct entry into your heart. The coffee and muffin costs 50 and 40 bucks respectively.
Science Block Canteen
There’s a new canteen that opened 3-4 months back in the science block. You have to try their veg Biryani. It got that delectable taste and is garnished beautifully. A plate of tasty colorful rice with lots of veggies and dry fruits served with soya chunks, onions and green chutney makes it the perfect Veg Biryani. The plate is for 20 bucks (super cheap isn’t it?) and is quite fulfilling.
I know by now you all must be super excited to come to Miranda House. But entering the college is actually a Hercules task if you do not have a college identity card. The task becomes easier if you have a Mirandian as your friend (if you know what I mean). Otherwise you can visit the college on some seminar days (you still should have a valid DU identity card) and on fest days.
So if you are a big time foodie you definitely have to try all these dishes out.
