MPLADS Fund Sanctioned To DU For Buses For Differently Abled

The government is finally taking steps forward to help the differently abled students of Delhi University. The BJP leader and MP from north east Delhi, Manoj Tiwari has sanctioned funds to the Delhi University for purchasing buses for the differently abled students.

The cost of these two buses will be around Rs. 19.90 lakhs which will be taken from the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) fund. These buses will be 2 Tata Winger motor vehicles.

According to DUSU President, Shakti Singh who went to the MP with the proposal, the university has always been denying this proposal ruling shortage of funds. But with this purchase through the MPLADS fund, the problem faced by the differently abled students will be reduced.
