NIRF College Rankings 2019 : Miranda House Bags The Top Spot For Third Time In A Row

President Ram Nath Kovind announced National Institutional Rankings 2019 initiated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development on 8th April 2019. Miranda House ranked 1 for the third time in a row in the best colleges of India category with a score of 73.72.

Dr. Bijayalaxmi Nanda, acting Principal of Miranda House was present to accept the award.

A total of 6 Delhi University colleges are present in the Top 10 and 15 in the Top 25. Hindu College jumped two places to reach the second spot in the rankings, while Hansraj College made the biggest leap from 21st position last year to 9th position this time.

In the Universities category Delhi University stood 13th, behind Jawaharlal Nehru University and Jamia Millia Islamia which ranked 2nd and 12th respectively.

Overall, Delhi University bagged the 20th position in NIRF rankings.
