Online Classes for UG and PG Courses to start from August 10.

Delhi University issued another notification in continuation with the academic calendar issued on 01.06.2020. After considering the UGC revised guidelines on examination and the revised academic calendar, the academic session 2020-2021 will commence from 10.08.2020. Online classes will be held for III, V and VII semesters for UG courses and for the IIIrd semester of PG courses.

No further details regarding the same have been issued. Colleges are yet to announce the schedule to be followed for online classes. Online classes might be problematic for students living in areas of poor internet connectivity. The availability of reading materials would also be challenging for students.

This decision comes in light of the pandemic situation. The UGC guidelines and the decision to conduct online exams for final year students is being challenged at the Court.

Students still await the details regarding the matter of conductance of online exams. The university however has not provided any details for the commencement of classes of the new batch.
