Parmish Verma was to perform at Lakshmibai College yesterday where the College Union even sold passes for outsiders entry to the event.The event had a restricted entry for boys in the college.
But what happened later shocked everyone as Parmish Verma never attended the event and blamed mismanagement on the part of Union and authorities.
The college students started shouting slogans of ‘ABVP Haaye Haaye’ against the ABVP as current College Union is headed by ABVP members.The Union blamed the artist and his manager for miscommunication at first but later Parmish Verma came up with a video where he highlighted the mismanagement on the part of college authorities and event organisers-the College Union.
DUSU Secretaty Mahamedha Nagar who happens to be an ABVP member and Raju Rawat along with other senior members of ABVP were also present at the event.
Sarah Iqbal,a second year Philosophy student at Lakshmibai College alleged that there was a verbal spat between boys from ABVP and girls of Lakshmibai College where abuses were hurled at female students.The argument isn’t assumed to be a major incident as no formal complaint has been filed till date.
