“Every action has equal and opposite reaction.” This old-age scientific adage was followed by members of the placement cell of Daulat Ram College when they organised Incrementum-An Internship and Career Fair.
The fair was open for all students who are enrolled in undergraduate courses in any college or university across Delhi-NCR.The event was inaugurated by Dr. Savita Roy, the Principal of Daulat Ram College ,Mr. Jitin Chawla, Head of Centre for Career Development and Dr. Indu Jain, Convenor of Placement Cell. Several International Universities and other Higher Educational Institutions marked their presence in the fair.
There were several companies,organisations and start-ups such as AIESEC, IDBI Federal Life Insurance, Coho, Inkpot and Outlook Group as well as NGOs such as Womenite, Upay, Umeed and Reaching Sky Foundation which were present to hire interns for various profiles like Human Resources, Project Management,Content Development, Photography, Marketing and Social Work.
The footfall was around 700-800 students from various courses and colleges.All-in-all,it was a truly enriching experience for all those who wanted to give a boost to their career while they were studying.
