All of these are fun in their own right, but sometimes end up giving us a lot of stress. Well, what better way to burst our stress than to go out with a couple of friends, have a nice quiet lunch and talk your heart out? Spezia Bistro, Hudson Lane
Hudson is a fun place to be. It’s the north campus hangout spot. Spezia Bistro is a place in Hudson, where you don’t have to wait in a line to get in. It’s a spacious place with a charming decor. They have a great variety of pastas and a really expansive menu. The music isn’t too loud so you and your friends can actually¬†have a conversation. Plus they have a swing, so you can always click great pictures.
Cha Bar, Connaught place
If you love books, you’ll love this place. It’s connected to the Oxford bookstore, which is a sight for sore eyes. The place has a carefree vibe and you can always go there alone and read a book with a cup of coffee and maybe sandwiches, if you’re hungry.
Big Chill, Khan Market
It’s a movie inspired cafe with walls covered with posters (which you aren’t allowed to photograph.) When you step into this cosy place, you immediately forget all your worries and just stop a second to take the sight in. It has lip smackingly delicious food and is quite famous for its heavenly cheese cakes. So if good food is all you need to lift your spirits up, this is the place to go.
Naivedyam, Hauz Khas Village
Hauz Khas is a favourite for the upper class Delhites. You’ll get a lot of pretentious overpriced cafes. Naivedyam is hidden behind such bars and restaurants. The place has a beautiful decor with huge paintings and flowers. The air is aromatic and you can hear soothing carnatic music. This place is famous for its authentic South Indian food.
