On Wednesday at New York, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with the Global Goalkeeper Award by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for the great achievement of SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN launched by NaMo government on 2nd October 2014.

He also said that according to a report, the rural sanitation in India has improved and because of this, there would be a decline health problems leading to an increase in BMI among women and children.
Under this mission, 11 crores toilets have been constructed already.
