Prabandh DCAC Organizes a Successful Manageria 2016 : DU’s First Online Fest

Prabandh-The Management Society of DCAC organised the first ever online management fest in Delhi University within 10 days of its inception.

The month long management fest titled ‘Manageria-2016′ comprised of four events in total which were held on weekends in the month of October. Every event was divided in 2 rounds-Preliminary Round & Final Round due to high number of participants.

The month long fest received more than 8000 applications with an 80% participation rate.

Students from different corners of the country studying different subjects at various levels were a part of the long list of participants.Students from Top Fashion institutes like NIFT,Pearl,Amity,etc,Top Engineering colleges like IIT’s,NIT’s,NSIT,DTU,etc alongwith Top Management colleges of the country like IIFT-Delhi,SIBM-Pune,NMIMS-Mumbai,SSCBS-Delhi,IMI-Delhi,Fore-Delhi,etc also participated in the event.

Events like Best Manager & Bee Plan were something which gave students a new experience.’I participated in Best Manager competition and it was a great experience for me,I now have some experience of cracking case studies which will help me during the time of placements and admission abroad’ said Ruhi,a second year student of Mumbai University who took part in 3 events of Manageria 2016.

The competition had prizes worth more than INR 2,00,000 to offer.Winners of all the 4 events won an all expense paid trip to Goa while second & third position holders won cash prizes.Owing to huge number of participants,society decided to give coupons as consolation prize to next Top 5 position holders in every event.

‘It feels great to see that students from all over India participated in our events which we organised in such a short period of time.We’ll organize many such events in the future as well for the student community at a much higher scale’ said Shivam Malhotra,President,Prabandh-The Management Society of Delhi College of Arts & Commerce.
